"Gentle Strength was opened 10 years ago in a historical 10x10 room downtown Brighton. The practice was opened due a (Lorie's) strong desire to help people on all levels - mind, body, spririt. Working in a traditional setting for 5 years prior affirmed the low success rate and the inability to teach people how to heal themselves". Lorie has a Master's in Education focusing on nutrition; Master's in Social Work; Certified Hypnotherepist, Esoteric Energy, DNA practioner and Certified Thought Feild Therapist.

A counselor for 8 years specializing in Children.

"I have been counseling at Gentle Strength for one year after spending 6 years in Lansing. I like to offer the opportunity of Christian Counseling and assistance in a variety of situations or issues including Couples Counseling, Chemical Dependency, Family Crisis, Children and Adolescence and Anger Management".
